Just thought this to be amusing...
As I am doing my Neo dailies, my 5 yr old is watching YoGabbaGabba on Noggin. She starts yelling, "Mommy, it's your game!!" The Gabba gang is playing Slushie Slinger!!! I checked the air date of the show and it was first aired in '08.
Of course there is no screen shot, it was on TV...I just thought I would share!! - Mood:amused

Does anyone know if SBS is going to screen Skins series 3 anytime soon? They've showed the first season once and the second twice I'm pretty sure. And they've already screened series 3 on UK tellie & are getting ready for series 4. :

REACT!
So, as Paul and Rich ride off into the sunset on a camel, who do you think won? Did the Affirmative sing, dance, and panto its way in to your Evil Receptors, or did the Negative pay you off and convince you to see the good side of bad?
As an interesting sidenote, this is the exact same topic as done in 1995 (or so) - except that time Paul was captain of the Negative, sang Money Is Not The Root Of All Evil, and... still won!

Posting on behalf of my boyfriend:
Software Developer Wanted
We're a Richmond-based software development studio specialising in web technologies such as Flex and Ruby on Rails. We are looking for a passionate and energetic developer to join our team of three.
We're more interested in what you can do than what you say you can do. So prove yourself with your attitude and with your code.
We're looking for someone who's spent their evenings and weekends working on their own projects, and has something to show for it. We have a particular love of open source collaboration, and you should too. Tell us about the projects you watch, and the projects you contribute to: do you have accounts with Github, SourceForge, or RubyForge?
We want to be floored by your enthusiasm to work with new products, programs, and languages. Dynamic or functional languages like Python, Ruby, Actionscript, Erlang, and Haskell are looked upon favorably. We're not interested in your academic transcript, your 2-day ScrumMaster black-belt, or your Microsoft certificates, but we are interested in real talent, sharp skills, and unmatched motivation.
If you're interested in working with us, send through your resume and examples of your pet projects to recruitment@silverpond.com.au.
Remuneration can be negotiated depending on experience.

Greetings Melbournians.
I've just started a new job in Fitzroy in Napier St (parallel to Brunswick). So what I've been doing is taking the train to Parliament station (I live out near Springvale, it's a bit of a hike...), then the 112 tram up Brunswick. As far as I can tell from the Metlink website, the 112 tram is the only one that gets me vaguely near my destination.
However!
I've also seen a Route 9 tram to Thornbury go past when I've been waiting at the Macarthur St tram stop outside Parliament station. I can't find information on this route anywhere on the Metlink website or on the little map thingies at each tram stop, and am just wondering if anyone knows anything about this route? Where does it go? What streets does it go down? Could this tram take me to my destination (cnr. Brunswick and Moor St)?
Can anyone solve the mystery of this un-advertised tram route?
Oh, and, lol, connex sucks.

For years I've been collecting Green Koi Keyrings. I have 3502 of them and there aren't a whole ton of them left. My goal right now is to make it to 5 million np in my bank account and then go on a huge keyring buying spree and hopefully get the majority of all Green Koi Keyrings. Getting to 5 million is taking soooo long though. I suck at stocks, but I do have 1,650,000np invested. In my bank account I have 2,640,000np. I play keyquest every day pretty much. How long do you think it is going to take me to get to five million?! I feel like at the progress I'm making with my stocks, it'll be FOREVER. I'm tempted to just spend up all my neopoints.

So I just got finished watching Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince... for free. One of the military bases in Hawai'i had a special full-length sneak preview. My mom's friend waited in line and got three of the 850 tickets. There's nothing really spoilery I can say about it, seeing as how the most radical change (highlight for minor spoilers) - the new events during the Weasley Christmas - has already been disclosed. However, I can give you guys my opinions on the pacing, character portrayal, and all-around general faithfulness. ( It still might be spoilery depending on your mindset, so click at your own discretion. )In short, I'd rate it as slightly over-dramatic and disjointed at times, but still worth a see for any Potter-fan. If you're somehow not despite being a member of this community, I'd recommend seeing Up instead. Feel free to ask questions about any particular book chapter or trailer scene if I didn't get around to mentioning them.

Hi everyone. I've had a neo account for a long time, but there were years I didn't use my account and I must admit there are many things I don't understand, like guilds. My real question is, in the new Neohomes exteriors, how do you use a piece of fencing more than once or place a flower more than once? I assume (and hope) you don't have to buy each individual piece, considering I've seen homes like this and some with even more flowers. Sorry if I'm wrong. (answered by frickinmuck, thanks) These are my neopets and this is my home (a rating would be appreciated even though it's a work in progress). Thanks in advance! - Mood:anxious

How/When did you discover/get into the Boosh? In about... Year 8 in my Geography class some of my friends had it up on YouTube. And, obviously, I got hooked for that double lesson. Then after that I forgot about it until about six months ago when I saw it in the video store and just HAD to borrow it.
Favourite Boosh character: Vince... and Tony Harrison and Kirk. And the obvious Old Gregg.
Favourite Episode: I don't think I can pick a favourite... I do love the episode where Vince throws Howard a 'birthday party', and they kiss on the rooftop...
Favourite Quote(s): Basically anything from Season Two!Moon. "You're all over! Like a bluebottle!" "Saturn, Jupiter, Pulto, Mars! Venus! George! C- Crissy. That is a list of my best friends. In order. Order of preference."
Favourite song: The Soup Song, The Moon's songs, Love Games and Isolation.

Byrne Studies Fergie And Lily To Channel Brand's Pop Star Belle
12 July 2009 3:56 PM, PDT
Aussie actress Rose Byrne is studying Lily Allen and Fergie as she prepares to play Russell Brand's pop star girlfriend in new film Get Him To The Greek.
The Troy star plays outrageous pop star Jackie Q in the Forgetting Sarah Marshall sequel and her research involves watching girl power icons.
She tells WENN, "I've been watching a lot of Fergie videos and she's a great dancer and goes for it. I've been watching some Lily Allen, Beyonce, Kylie Minogue, Spice Girls; I mean you name it, all of the girl bands."
And she hopes her pop video scenes in the film are lit as well as the real stars' promos: "They don't wear anything in these videos but they have good lighting, so I'm hoping the lighting will be just as good on this film. I'm not wearing very much in the film but I will be wearing lots of hot pants."SOURCE

Hi, question for those of you who have the avatar for Meerca Chase II...
What game mode/difficulty did you play to get the avatar? I play on "Classic" & "Hard", but I'm still not earning anywhere near the needed points. I'm wondering if I have to play on a harder mode such as "Freestyle" or "Maze"? Any tips would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!!

So basically I just made last minute plans to make it to the ball at Azkatraz on Sunday. Unfortunatley, you can only buy a ticket to the ball if you are registered. So here comes the favor.I was wondering if anyone that was registered could buy me a ticket (I believe they are only twenty dollars) and when I get there on Sunday I will pay you back no questions asked! I really wanted to go to Azkatraz but I couldn't scrape enough money together, so this would be a really awesome alternative. Anyone willing to help me out? (:
